A frenzied melee of bullet biting and stiff-chinned compromise

I don’t enjoy Christmas as much as I did when I was younger. I like to think that I can pinpoint the exact moment it began to be less magical for me as the moment I realized how much work my parents put into the whole event. The planning, spending and selflessness involved just made it harder to completely lose myself in the moment.

Bringing the Rock to Gainesville
Out of the many number of bands playing at The FEST every year, a good amount of them come trickling down to our neck of the woods from other areas for the growing music festival. One of these bands, Thunderlip from Wilmington, North Carolina, were kind enough to answer some questions about their experiences in Gainesville and what brought them to The FEST in the first place.
